This study aims to observe the impact of fiber lengths and NaOH treatment on tensile properties composite materials made from borassus polyester matrix. used fibers fruit, Wax Mirror Glass, Polyester Alkali (NaOH). The was carried out by soaking in a 15% solution for 2 hours. length this were short (<1cm) long (>8 cm). composition number matrix calculated based volume fraction test spesimens according standard ASTM D-3039. results showed that reinforced composites treated with hours had highest stress value an average 5.896 MPa, while lowest found reinforcement without alkali 1.625 MPa. macro photo describe shape pull treatment, has brittle fracture out.
